Introduction

Just 4 Youth creates mechanisms for young people to be involved with, and be able to influence, service providers. We achieve this by raising awareness of the problems faced by young people, challenging negative perceptions and generating a variety of opportunities for young people to make the most of their lives; through demonstrating the positive rather than negative impact young people have in their community.

Many organisations attempt to address these issues but fail to learn what works and what doesn't from a young person's point of view.

Young people are best placed to provide the solutions. Our young person-led training enables young people, the community and organisations to work better together. This in turn breaks down barriers, promotes a positive image of young people and improves long term safety and security for young people through social inclusion rather than exclusion.

Just 4 Youth actively involves our young people in the planning, design, delivery and evaluation of services. We believe that this model of working achieves positive outcomes for all concerned as the young people bring their own unique and innovative solutions to issues faced by their peers.
