Through the YES Scheme, Just 4 Youth has worked with young people aged 16 to 19 to help them access the world of work, training and learning. The innovative new scheme started in November 2007, aiming to help at least 150 young people realise their aspirations and improve their job prospects.

A team of Young Employment Advisors from Just 4 Youth was recruited and trained to develop and implement an effective service for engagement with young people aged 16 to 19, to ensure they can access the correct levels of support and services to reduce the worklessness nurmbers across the Middlesbrough area. 

Because the Young Employment Advisors are young people themselves, they have acted as positive role models to other young people in order to engage them in appropriate motivational and employment training. Once engaged, the Advisor supports the young people with their individual action plan and provides appropriate infomation, advice and guidance.
