Raising and Realising Aspirations: For Children and Young People in the North East is a regional conference which will take place at Sunderland's Stadium of Light on Friday 30th January between 10am and 4pm.
Featuring a Keynote speach from Estelle Morris, the conference aims to stimulate cross-agency debate about raising and realising young people's aspirations, promote understanding of the impact of both low and unfulfilled aspirations on outcomes for young people in the North East, and to identify specific activity which could be promoted to support the realising and raising of aspirations.
Just 4 Youth's Laura Wright will be presenting to the conference on her work as one of the co-ordinators of the Regional 14-19 Commission's Youth Advisory Board. Just 4 Youth will also be presenting a case study entitled, "Just 4 Youth - a model for raising the aspirations of young people."
