Just 4 Youth has been awarded a grant by Children England (previously NCVCCO) with funding from CWDC, to provide two half day training events targetting staff and volunteers from local children and Young people VCS organisations. The events will build the capacity of these organisations to involved children and young people more closely within their workforce development strategies.
Ten grants have been awarded nationally for projects which promote third sector involvement in developing the children's workforce, share practical ideas about good practice and undertake small scale research work to identify unmet workforce needs or provide learning on new issues.
Kevin Franks, Operations Director for Just 4 Youth comments, "This grant will enable us to share good practice to enable services to improve their delivery to young people, as well as develop workforce strategies with young people. Because youth participation is the key ethos of Just 4 Youth, this scheme helps us meet our own aims and objectives."
