‘Just 4 Youth’ offers a range of formal and bespoke training programmes to develop skills and opportunities for young people and to create mechanisms for young people to be involved with, and be able to influence, service providers.

Services currently on offer include:

Peer Education
- We empower young people to work with other young people, drawing on the positive strength of the peer group. By means of appropriate training and support, the young people become active players in the educational process rather than passive recipients of a set message.

Youth Proofing
- We transform adult orientated strategies and policies into documents/guides that young people can easily understand and relate to; helping to engage young people with service providers.

Youth Advisory Panels
– We enable young people to express their views and influence service providers. For more details of the Regional Youth Advisory Board, click here.

Research
- We undertake research for a range of organisations to provide quantitative and qualitative data to enable them to improve their own services.

Conference Presentations and Workshops
- We support partner agencies at local, regional and national conferences on a range of youth related issues.

Training Resources
- We provide and supply a range of accredited and non accredited training resources and toolkits to support the engagement of young people.

Young Advisors
- We are currently the only organisation in the North East to deliver a Young Advisor programme. Young Advisors are trained and employed consultants who guide adult service providers about what it is like for a young person to live, work, learn and play in their neighbourhood.
