Young people from West Middlesbrough gathered together for 11 weeks to take part in a pilot project that they named Catwalk Queen's. These young people were involved in the project from start to finish, from applying for funding to the You Choose Youth Bank to setting out designing and modelling in there very own Fashion Show. Over the weeks they recycled unwanted clothes and transformed them from rags to ritches, learnt new tequnices of how to sew and designed and made badges.Whilst the project was on the young people learnt various skills such as, budgeting, social and team building, aswell as gaining confidence in them selfs.

The Fashion show which took place at Acklam Garden City on 17th December was a great success, and raised £125 for the children's charity, Daisy Chain. For more photos from the night, visit the Media section of the site!
